Michael Robertson

Michael (known to many as Mike) was born and raised in North Carolina, where he grew up in close quarters alongside his four sisters. He had two main focuses growing up: school, skateboarding, and video games. With a heavy interest in the medieval fantasy setting, Michael spent a lot of his free time playing games involving knights, wizards, and everything in between. Witnessing these fantasy worlds through the lens of a child often inspired wonder, the longing for adventure, and the desire to create. He enjoyed taking his longboard out to explore areas of his hometown that he hadn’t seen before. What might appear to be an unassuming gate to others would instead appear to Michael as something to be looked beyond (at the very least).

Today, these interests have evolved into a love for travel and finding new places, sometimes off the beaten path. And while he has often dreamed of creating his own fantasy world through writing and art or even the creation of his own game, currently photography is his preferred method of creating through his own experiences. Although living in the moment takes priority, Michael holds a lot of importance for capturing it when the timing is right.
